COVID-19 testing and case counts reported as of April 5, 2020

Grey Bruce Health Unit continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation.

As of April 3rd5th, there are another two new cases reported in the past 24 hours in Grey Bruce.  A female in her 40s and another in her 50s are in isolation.

There are now 21 cases to date with eight recovered cases and one more case related to COVID-19 in a long-term facility.

The number of Health Care Providers affected and reported in Grey Bruce is now at six.

There have been 11 negative test results received in the past 24 hours.  Total negative cases updates lack reliable data as public health does not receive notice of all negative swabs.

The estimated average time for results being received from the lab is three to four days.
