Friday, October 17th – time to Dress Purple

On Friday, October 27, Bruce County is supporting Bruce Grey Child and Family Services and Children’s Aid Societies across the province in the Dress Purple Day Campaign that raises awareness about the important role that individuals and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families.

Get involved by dressing in purple on October 27 and sharing your supporting photo or video on social media. Use the hashtag #DressPurpleDay2023.

“Bruce County’s Human Services Department shares in the mandate to support vulnerable children, youth, and families in our community,” adds Tina Metcalfe, Bruce County’s Director of Human Services. “We want all children, youth, and families to know that help is available no matter the challenge they are facing. Please join us in bringing awareness to this important initiative.”
