The following is the list of candidates who have put their names forward in the upcoming October election to serve on Huron-Kinloss Council.
There are three candidates running for Mayor following the retirement in August, after 24 years in politics, of Mayor Mitch Twolan of Point Clark.

For the position of School Trustee for the Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB), there are two candidates – Jan Johnstone and Ray Richards – and there also two candidates for the School Trustee position on the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board – Lori Di Castri and Allan Kempert.
