August Family dinner is set for Sunday August 12 from 4:30 to 6pm. This meal is put on by the legion but anyone in the community is welcome to come. The price is $13 for seniors 65 and over, $15 for adults, $10 children 6 to 10 yrs, children 5 and under free, $45 family rate (2 adults & 2 children). Menu is meat, potatoes, veggies salad, pickles dessert coffee and tea.
Do you enjoy nine holes of golf and have a bit of a competitive spirit? Well then maybe you should consider signing up for the annual legion golf tournament. It will be held on August 19th at the Kincardine Golf course with a shotgun start at 1pm. Cost is $50 for members $55 for non members. The entire team must pay together when registering. If you want to use a golf cart you must call the Kincardine Golf Course to make arrangements 396-2112.
If you enjoy listening to local musicians play or you are a musician yourself there will be 3 jam sessions in the month if August. They will be on the 3rd, 17th and 31st, in the clubhouse starting at 7pm. The fiddler’s will also be playing on Tuesday August 7th and 21st 7pm in the clubhouse.
