Spring is here according to the date on the calendar, let’s just hope mother nature agrees with the calendar. Once the warmer weather does return the patio at the legion will be open for everyone to enjoy.
Catch the Ace draws take place on Wednesday at 4pm, we are happy to be teamed up with Special Olympics this time around. Catch the Ace tickets are sold at In Style Hair studio, Sleepers bed gallery, Jean’s Restaurant, Esso on Queen, Edward Fuels and the Legion Bar. Tickets go on sale on Thursday afternoon for the following week’s draw, at all outlets. If you missed getting your ticket at your favourite outlet before they were gathered up, they are available for last minute sales at the legion bar if there are tickets available, until a couple minutes before the draw.
Do you have your tickets for Little Peter and the Elegants? This great 50’s 60’s band will be back at the legion on Saturday April 27. Tickets are limited so don’t delay getting yours or you might be disappointed. You can purchase tickets at Harbour Rose Boutique and the legion bar.
Friday March 29 at 7pm the legion clubhouse will be the place to be if you like to play an instrument or just enjoy listening to music, it’s Jam night. Bring your instrument if you want to join in and have a great night out.
Looking for something to do on Thursday nights? Come out by yourself or with some friends and play Bingo. The doors open at 6pm the first game is at 7pm. Hot dogs, sandwiches, chips, pop and chocolate bars are for sale in the hall. Fried finger foods are available at the upstairs bar.
