Congratulations to our public speakers from Branch 183 that represented us at the District C public speaking contest.
In the junior division Cooper Waite from St Anthony’s placed 4th, in Intermediate Harleen Gill from Huron Heights placed 1st, and the senior division Sheetal Gill placed 2nd.
Sheetal Gill also received a cheque from Branch 183 this week to help with expenses when she travels to Chicago this summer to attend the World Leadership Congress as a Canadian Ambassador.
We look forward to hearing about her experience when she returns from Chicago.
