The excitement is building the Ace of Spades has yet to be found in our Catch the Ace draws. The progressive jackpot should be close to $14,000.00. What would you do if you won that? I’m sure we all have somewhere we could spend it, but if you don’t buy a ticket you won’t have a chance. Tickets may be purchased at the legion bar, Jean’s restaurant, Sleeper’s bed Gallery, In Style, Esso on Queen, Edward Fuels and Bob’s Dogs. Special Olympics are going to be benefitting from this round of Catch the Ace.

Trivia is happening on August 16th in the hall at 7pm. Get your team together and see if you can solve the trivia questions Laura comes up with. Try to limit your team size to 10 people. If you want to play but don’t have a team come out and we will find a team that you can join.

A few upcoming things for you to mark on your calendar are, Oct 5 Little Peter and the Elegants will return to Kincardine legion. Tickets will go on sale soon. The provincial service officer will be at the branch on Oct 24th at 1pm.

Thursday August 15th there will be $1000 jackpot. This is to thank people for understanding about the legion not having bingo on August 8th due to a private function taking place in the hall. Grab some friends and come out for an enjoyable night of bingo. Doors open at 6pm first games start at 7pm. Remember there are burgers available before bingo from 5 to 7pm

Looking for someplace to have a wedding reception, anniversary party, birthday party or retirement party? The legion might have the perfect size space for you. You can call the office Monday to Friday from 9am to noon at 519-396-2372. Christine will be able to discuss what is available with you.

Find yourself with some free time on a Saturday afternoon why not check out the meat draw in the clubroom. Tickets go on sale at 2:30 and are good for all 8 draws. The first draw is at 3pm and they take place every 15 minutes. The meat is purchased from The Beefway.
