Looking for something to do on Tuesday nights? Why not come out to the fun dart league? Open to men and women, you do not need to be a legion member to join the dart league. It’s $5 to join and then $2 a night after that. Don’t want to commit to a team? Get your name put on the spare list. The fun all starts in the hall on Sept 17 7:30 pm.
‘Little Peter and the Elegants’ tickets are on sale at the legion bar and Harbour Rose boutique. They will be back to perform at the legion on October 5th. Tickets are $20 each and you will want to get them soon as it always sells out.
Since we are now in September it’s time to think about renewing your legion membership. If you renew before December 1st, you will get $5 off the price for all affiliate and associate memberships.
Trivia night at the legion will be on Friday September 20th 7pm in the hall. Get your team together and join in the fun. Will Laura have new categories for this month? Will there be a picture round? Come on out and see what she has come up with.
Sept 4th draw saw all the tickets sold for the Catch the Ace but, the ace was not found. That means the we will be over $20,000 for the progressive prize on Sept 11. Make sure you get your tickets, so you aren’t disappointed. They can be purchased from Sleeper’s, Jean’s, Bob’s Dogs, Esso on Queen, Edward Fuel’s, In Style Hair and the legion bar.
Looking for someplace to have a wedding reception, anniversary party, birthday party or retirement party? The legion might have the perfect size space for you. You can call the office Monday to Friday from 9am to noon at 519-396-2372. Christine will be able to discuss what is available with you.
Find yourself with some free time on a Saturday afternoon why not check out the meat draw in the clubroom. Tickets go on sale at 2:30 and are good for all 8 draws. The first draw is at 3pm and they take place every 15 minutes. The meat is purchased from The Beefway.
