The Kincardine and District Lions Club thanks everyone who participated in the Club’s
annual Dinner Draw fundraiser.
Proceeds from this draw enabled the Club to make several recent donations.

March 7th – Lions Rolly Thornton, Phil Thompkins and Paul Kozma attended the
Bridge and presented coordinator Wes Larson with a donation for the Drop In at the Bridge program
March 12th, Lions Rolly Thornton and Phil Thompkins presented a
donation to the Kincardine Community Singers for the group’s ongoing expenses …

March 13th – Lions Rolly Thornton, George Ling and Paul Kozma attended the Kincardine Food Bank to present to Lorrie Alexander and staff with the Club’s annual donation to the Grub Tubs in the Schools program
which the Lions have sponsored for over 20 years
March 17th – Lions Rolly Thornton, George Ling, Peter Wolfe, John Paterson,
Ken Fair & Phil Thompkins attended K.D.S.S. and presented the Club’s donation to pay for
registration packages for Marianne Stewart (athletics), Ryan Broadhagen (Bocce) & Jackie McDonald (Bocce) who have qualified for the Central District at the upcoming
Special Olympics Summer Provincial Games in Brantford. Joy Laidler,
Community Coordinator for Kincardine and Area Special Olympics thanked the Lions for their support.
