Kinloss Tract re-opens following timber harvesting

The Kinloss Tract, located northeast of Lucknow, is now open following December timber harvesting operations.

Bruce County, with contractor Collin Gerber, harvested timber in this area to improve forest health as part of the County’s forest management plan.

The entirety of this Kinloss Tract property, including all trails and parking lots, is once again open to the public. The park is located just northeast of the Town of Lucknow and has approximately 3.5 km of single track and additional 2.5 km of old forest access road.

The County encourages everyone to follow Ontario’s stay-at-home orders, exercise and enjoy the outdoors only with members of your household, and follow the 3 W’s: wash your hands, watch your distance (6 feet), and wear your face covering correctly.

This Kinloss Tract property is located at Concession 2 Lots 16 and 17, within the Township of Huron-Kinloss.

Bruce County thanks everyong for their patience and understanding.
