Local Lions help young students with play equipment

Last fall (2020), the Kincardine & District Lions Club approached the principals of the local schools to see what, if anything, the schools could use because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
K.T.T.P.S., Huron Heights, Ecole Elgin Market and St. Anthony’s all replied with a need for outdoor play equipment for the students as their current items can no longer be shared by all students.
As a result the Club donated $1,000.00 to each of the schools to purchase what they felt was needed.
On Friday, February 26th members of the Club attended the schools to see the results of their donations. St. Anthony’s is still awaiting arrival of their procurements.

Ecole Elgin Market students proudly showed some of their new items to Lions Dan Holm, Peter Morris, John Brash Larry Bannerman, Nancy Brash, Helen Gitter-Flavell, Dennis Flavell, Phil Thompkins, Paul Thompson and Larry the Lion
