Visit for your Passport to Fun & Prizes!

This summer, the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is your passport to fun and prizes!

With many exhibits to explore and a variety of programs, you’ll want to plan multiple visits starting with “Speaking of Wildlife” on Monday July 1 at 2 p.m. (and again on July 15, August 5, 19, and September 2). These one-hour interactive presentations feature 5 or 6 Ontario wildlife ambassadors such as a porcupine, hawk, bobcat, turtle, skunk, goose, owl, or snake, and their human interpreter. Seating for this popular program is limited, visitors are encouraged to arrive early!

With the “Kids Celebrate!” exhibit, you’ll discover something new on each visit. There is so much to do in this family exhibit highlighting cultural and seasonal celebrations with crafts, interactives, and activities. Spend an afternoon learning about India’s Diwali, the New Year in China, the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, Toonik Tyme in Iqaluit – what better way to appreciate the diversity of celebrations in Canada than through this interactive exhibition developed by the Canadian Museum of History. “Kids Celebrate!” is proudly presented by Ontario Power Generation and 101.7 The One.
