Voter information letters mailed

The Municipality of Kincardine has mailed Voter Information Letters to eligible electors who are currently on the Voters’ List for the upcoming municipal and school board election.

These letters contain the electors unique Voter ID and PIN and provide detailed instructions on how to cast their ballot by internet or telephone. There will be no paper ballots for this election and all votes must be cast by internet or telephone.

Electors are encouraged to keep their letters in secure location until voting opens on October 15, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. They will then have until October 22, 2018 at 8 p.m. to cast their ballot by the internet or telephone.

If you have not received your Voter Information Letter by September 28, 2018 please contact the Municipal Administration Centre at 519-396-3468 ext. 7113 or to confirm that you on the Voters’ List.

Wed. October 10, 2018 – 2 p.m. Malcolm Place, 255 Durham St. Kincardine
Thurs. October 11, 2018 – 11 a.m. Tiverton Park Manor, 24 King St. Tiverton
Thursday, October 11, 2018 – 2 p.m. Trillium Court, 550 Philip Pl. Kincardine

Staff will be on hand to guide you through the process of how to cast your ballot by internet or telephone.

* Monday October 15 to Friday October 19 – 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
* Saturday October 20 – 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
* Sunday October 21 – 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
* Monday October 22 – 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Free internet access is available at the Kincardine and Tiverton Libraries for electors casting their ballots.
