The annual Grey-Bruce Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics is set to begin on Wednesday morning, June 10th (2026).
Leg one of the LETR will begin in Port Elgin and, from there, Special Olympians and Law Enforcement officers will travel to Kincardine for leg two.
They are expected to arrive at Victoria Park at approximately 8:35 a.m. where they will run/walk laps around the park for 35 minutes. Then, at 9:10 a.m., they will again board the bus and it will be on to Hanover, then Durham and, finally ending in Owen Sound where a BBQ will be held.

The Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run is the largest public awareness vehicle and grass-roots fundraiser for Special Olympics and, since its inception in 1987, has raised more than $80 million in Canada.
