A deliciously tasty Fall at Bruce County Museum

This fall the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is hosting two delicious tasting events for adults only.

Sponsor Christy Kelly (L) and Bruce            County Museum Business Manager                            Janice Mewhinney

The popular “Brews & Bites: A Guided Beer Tasting” event is for the hops enthusiast to discover and sample some of Ontario’s excellent micro-brewers.  On Thursday, October 4, Nickel Brook Brewing Company from Burlington will explain how they have “Beer, Down to a Science”, with an entertaining and informative evening led by one of their Prud’hommes.  Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of brews paired with delicious appetizers by ‘The Milk Maid’, while comparing and learning about the subtleties in brew flavour.

Then, on November 16th, join Certified Whiskey Ambassador ‘Stephanie’ from The Dam Pub in Thornbury  for “A Taste of Scotland”, a charming evening of scotch tasting.    Scotch oficianados can expect to enjoy a grouping of fine single malts from five of the six Scotch-producing regions of Scotland along with food pairings and the opportunity to learn about specific distilleries, along with the history of whiskey. You can be sure that Stephanie will share her knowledge along with a few whisky tales from her whisky travels and experiences.

Christy Kelly of IG Wealth Management proudly presents “Brews & Bites: A Guided Beer Tasting” and “A Taste of Scotland: 7th Annual Event in our Spirit Tasting Series”.

Seating for both events is limited, therefore, to purchase your tickets drop by the Bruce County Museum or call 519-797-2080.
