Bruce County Museum to host Kincardine Day with Free Admission

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is looking forward to the next Kincardine Community Day happening on Saturday, October 26. On this day, Kincardine residents and rate payers will receive free admission to the Museum.

 

If you live in Kincardine or are a Kincardine rate payer, be sure to enjoy this opportunity and explore the rich history of Bruce County. Beginning in the “Anishnaabwe Endaat” gallery, through pioneer times to present day; come face-to-face with a baby mammoth, be the conductor of the “Bruce County Museum Railway” or play in our technology lab.

Discover the “Voices of Chief’s Point” and learn the Anishinaabeg songs and stories of the past or bid on your favourite celebrity print in the “John White Celebrity Photo Show & Silent Auction”.

This is the second free admission day in 2019 for Kincardine residents to acknowledge and say thank you to the Municipality for its financial support of the Museum’s plans to expand its Archives.

When: Saturday, October 26, between 10am-5pm

How: Simply go to www.brucemuseum.ca  and enter your postal code to access a free coupon. If this is not super convenient, just bring proof of residency when you visit.
