Although Health Canada has classified the COVID-19 virus as low risk to Canadians, we’re taking extra precautions to protect all clients, staff and the public. Using an abundance of caution to ensure that staff are able to continue to deliver services and to protect the public in the wake of COVID-19, ALL County Office Buildings are closed to the public beginning Monday, March 16, until Sunday, April 5, 2020.
In addition to the following CLOSURES to the Public: County Administration Centre, 30 Park Street, Walkerton Peninsula Hub, 268 Berford Street, Wiarton Lakeshore Hub, 1243 MacKenzie Road, Port Elgin All Library Branch Locations Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, 33 Victoria Street, Southampton Human Services Offices in these locations are also CLOSED to the Public: 325 Lambton Street, Kincardine 910 Queen Street, Kincardine All County Council and Committee meetings scheduled during this time are CANCELLED.
County service delivery will continue. Relying on advice from experts in risk management and loss prevention, we’re committed to doing our part to help slow the spread of this new virus. When possible, we encourage social distancing, as recommended by the Public Health Agency of Canada, and suggest that contacting us via phone, email or online is preferred during this time.

The public is encouraged to follow the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit and stay up to date at www.publichealthgreybruce.on.ca. The County also recommends that the public follow the proper hygiene protocols outlined by the Provincial Medical Officer of Health: https://www.ontario.ca/page/2019-novel-coronavirus.
