Bruce Grey CDSB Chair gives inaugural speech virtually

At its recent virtual meeting on January 25th, the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board  Board (CDSB) of Trustees had the opportunity to hear the inaugural speech of Lori Di Castri, Chair of Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, who quoted St. Francis of Assisi.

“Start by doing what’s necessary, then what’s possible, and suddenly you are doing the
impossible”.

“I think that could be the Bruce Grey CDSB motto for 2020,” says De Castri. “Since March there have been so many challenges and changes to overcome and we have been planning and revising for nearly a year.”

“Moving to online learning we faced a complete change in the way education is delivered,” she added, “but as I reflect back to last March, I marvel at what we have achieved, not only in education but in our communities. Although we had to separate and isolate, still, we grew closer to our neighbours and helped each other in ways we never had.”
