Disturbance at Kincardine business results in charges against youths

The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two youths after a report of a disturbance in the Municipality of Kincardine.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, shortly after 12:15 p.m., South Bruce OPP officers received reports of a group of youths engaged in a physical confrontation at a business on Queen Street.

As a result of investigation, on Friday October 9, 2026, investigators arrested and charged two 17-year-old youths from Kincardine with three counts of Assault, contrary to the Criminal Code, with one of the youths also being charged with one count of Mischief.

The names of the youths are not being released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Both accused are scheduled to appear at Ontario Court of Justice – Walkerton at a later date.
