Huron Shores Hospice invites the community totake part in the 10th Annual Hike for Hospice, a meaningful event that brings people together to walk, remember, and support compassionate end-of-life care.

For ten years, this event has united individuals, families, and teams in support of local hospice care. Participants are encouraged to register as individuals or create a team with friends, family, or colleagues. Team fundraising adds energy and connection, with opportunities to set goals, challenge one another, and make a lasting impact together.
Funds raised support the ongoing sustainability of Huron Shores Hospice and future growth, including the development of a third suite. This expansion will allow the hospice to care for more individuals and families and create Room for more Compassion in the community, at no cost to community members.
The event is open to all ages and abilities. Whether walking in memory, in honour, or in support, every step helps provide comfort, dignity, and care when it is needed most.
Event Details: Saturday May 9th 2026, Kincardine Davidson Centre. Registration for hikers opens at 9:00 a.m.
Online registration is now open. Participants can sign up, build teams, and access fundraising tools including downloadable paper pledge and waver forms online.

This annual community event brings individuals, families, and teams together to walk in support of compassionate end-of-life care close to home. It is also a meaningful opportunity to honour loved ones who have been supported through hospice services, while raising essential funds to ensure care remains accessible for all who need it within Kincardine, Saugeen Shores, and beyond. 100% of funds stay directly within the community.
This year, we are excited for the 10th anniversary, with a team-focused experience, encouraging friendly competition, community spirit, and deeper engagement. With strong early momentum and participation already underway, we anticipate this year’s Hike to be one of our most impactful yet.
