Township of Huron-Kinloss Mayor Don Murray announced today, October 16th, that Shane Watson will join the Huron-Kinloss staff in the role of Fire Chief on October 30th.
“Shane brings 10 years’ experience in the fire service as a volunteer firefighter and has spent the previous five years as a Fire Prevention Officer and Community Emergency Management Coordinator in the municipal sector. Overall, he brings the experience, education and professionalism that make him an asset for our fire and emergency services,” said Mayor Murray.
Chief Administrative Officer Mary Rose Walden welcomes Chief Watson to the Huron-Kinloss senior leadership team. “I look forward to working with him and I am confident that with his experience, he will be a perfect fit for our organization.”
