Huron Shores Hospice has partnered with The Tiverton & District Lions Club to operate an electronic Catch the Ace progressive raffle lottery under licence #RAF1221867.
The tickets will be sold starting on Tuesday, September 28, with the first draw to be held online at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5. The winner’s name will be announced on Facebook by 6:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at https://catchtheacehsh.ca.
The person who holds the winning ticket selected in each draw will have chosen an envelope number holding a playing card from the single deck. If the Ace of Spades is found within the envelope selected, in addition to winning 20% of the proceeds from the draw, the person will win the progressive jackpot.
If the card selected is not the Ace of Spades, the selected card is destroyed and the progressive prize portion of the ticket sales for that draw is rolled over into the progressive jackpot for the next Tuesday’s draw. The lottery continues until such time as the Ace of Spades has been found and the progressive jackpot has been awarded.
WHO: Anyone 18 years or older is eligible to purchase a ticket if purchasing in Ontario.
WHERE: Due to COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of our Catch the Ace players we will be holding the lottery online at https://catchtheacehsh.ca/.
WHEN: Draws will be held each Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. until the Ace of Spades has been found. The draw will run for a maximum of 52 weeks.
WHY: Lottery proceeds will be divided 60% to Huron Shores Hospice to go towards operating expenses and 40% to the Tiverton & District Lions Club for their continued community work.
