On Thursday, October 12th, members of the Kincardine & District Lions Club turned out to present a donation of $30,000 to the Kincardine & Community Health Care Foundation.
This amount represents 60% of the funds raised over the past summer from the sale of the Club’s Hospital Fundraising Raffle. Throughout the summer members sold tickets on a prize table consisting of 22 prizes valued at a total of over $10,000.
The Club extends a deep appreciation for all the businesses who generously supported the raffle and thanks everyone who purchased a ticket.
The remainder of the funds raised allow the Kincardine and District Lions Club to continue supporting the Club’s other annual commitments to local programs and projects.
