Kincardine Legion Corner: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 183

Looking for something to do during this cold weather? Come on down to the legion on Friday January 25th for trivia. The fun all starts at 7pm. Laura always has a great selection of questions to get everyone thinking and trying to remember news items, or maybe sports facts and some musical groups past or present. Teams are made up of 10 people, if you don’t have a group come out and join one once you get to the legion.

If trivia isn’t your cup of tea, then why not join us for one of our musical nights. The fiddlers are in the clubhouse on January 22, February 5th and 19th. This talented group enjoys having people come out to listen to them. If you are a talented musician, then come out for one of our Jam sessions on February 1st and 15th. These also take place in the clubroom at 7pm. If you would rather just listen, you are more than welcome to come out and do that.

Have a special event coming up and not sure if your place is big enough for that big birthday, anniversary or maybe a retirement party. Give Christine a call Monday to Friday 9 to noon (519-396-2372) and she can let you know what space we have available that would suit your needs.

Bingo is back on Thursday nights in the hall. Doors open at 6pm first game at 7pm. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to eat before coming, we have hot dogs and sandwiches available in the hall or you can go upstairs to the bar and order any of the items off the snack menu. See you at bingo.

Legion hours are Monday to Friday noon to 10 pm, Saturday’s noon to 6 pm, grab some friends and come check out your local legion. Everyone is welcome.
