Kincardine Legion Corner: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 183

Wow March is upon us can’t believe we are already 2 months into 2019, and we have lots of things going on at the legion during March.

With five Fridays this month that means there will be 3 Jam sessions. They will be held on March 1st, 15th, and the 29th, at 7pm in the clubhouse. We have a wonderful group of regular musicians that come out with their instruments and play, but they love having new musicians come and join them. So, if you play an instrument and are free on any or all of these nights come and join in the fun. If you just like to listen to music, then you’re in for a treat if you come down on Jam night.

The fiddlers also enjoy having folks come and listen to them play every other Tuesday night in the clubhouse. This month you will find them at the legion on the 5th and the 19th at 7pm.

Family dinner will be held on March the 10th, same day as Daylight Savings begins. As always, the doors open at 4pm and the meal is served from 4:30 to 6pm.

Don’t forget to buy your Catch the Ace tickets, they will be at the outlets Thursday afternoons and on sale at the legion bar right up to a few minutes before the draw on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm. The outlets are Sleepers bed Gallery, Jean’s restaurant, Esso on Queen and Edward fuels. This time we have teamed up with Special Olympics.

Thursday night is bingo night doors open at 6pm first game is at 7pm. Hot Dogs, Sandwiches are available in the hall, chicken strips, fries, onion rings from the bar. So, if you’re running late at work and still want to play bingo you have some options for food at the legion.
