Wow we are almost at the end of October where has the month gone?
There will be Bingo on Halloween. Doors open at 6pm and the games start at 7pm. Feel free to dress up if you like and get in the spirit of the day. There will be chili available before bingo.
Have you renewed your legion membership yet? If you renew before December 1st, you will get $5 off the price for all affiliate and associate memberships. You can do this in person at the legion bar or online at portal.legion.ca.
There are lots of nights over the next month to come and enjoy local musicians showing off their talent. The Fiddlers will be in the clubroom on Oct 29, and Nov 12 and 26. The Jam sessions in the hall will be on Nov 1, 15, and 29 these nights get started at 7pm.
The November family dinner will take place on Sunday November 10th from 4:30 to 6pm in the hall. Come by for a delicious meal consisting of meat, potatoes, veggies, salad, dessert, coffee and tea. Seniors (65+)- $13, adults-$15, children (6-10)-$10 children under 5 free. Family rate (2adults +2 children)-$45.
Find yourself with some free time on a Saturday afternoon – why not check out the meat draw in the clubroom? Tickets go on sale at 2:30 and are good for all 8 draws. The first draw is at 3pm and they take place every 15 minutes. The meat is purchased from The Beefway.
