Kincardine Lions donate to community organizations

March 24th was a busy day for Kincardine and District Lions Club as they presented donations to several organizations.

The Club made a donation to the Lions Clubs International Foundation (L.C.I.F.) for their Ukrainian relief efforts. L.C.I.F. staff are currently working with the leadership in neighbouring countries to develop a project plan where L.C.I.F. would support Lions-led distribution of immediate relief goods including food, water, hygiene items, clothing etc.

Next on the list was the Kincardine Ministerial Food Bank.  The Lions Club presented a cheque to supply the Lions ‘Grub Tubs’ which are located in the local schools. This annual program has been sponsored by the Club for approximately 15 years.

The Lions also presented their annual donation to the Kincardine Library for the purchase of large print books.
