On June 22, 2020 at 5:41 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a residence at Cameron Drive, Saugeen First Nation after a motor vehicle was damaged.
OPP officers attended and observed damage to a pick-up truck that had resulted from a person throwing a ceramic statue and a barbell weight at this truck.
As a result of the investigation, Grey Bruce OPP arrested and charged a 23 year- old from Saugeen First Nation, with Mischief, by destroying or damaging property, section 430(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada (CC) and failure to comply with an Undertaking, section 145(4)(a) CC.
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is required to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on September 9, 2020.
