Municipality of Kincardine Inauguration of the 2022-2026 Council

Council chambers were filled to capacity at the Municipal Administration Centre in Kincardine on November 16th as the 2022 – 2026 Municipality of Kincardine Council took their declarations of office.

The nine members of Council followed Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band Piper Brenda Colquhoun in to begin the meeting and, after a Land Acknowledgement, members of the Kincardine Community Singers performed the national anthem.

Each member of the Council had an opportunity to address the crowd following their declaration of office and other meeting formalities. Deputy Mayor Andrea Clarke began followed by each Councillor and concluding with Mayor Kenneth Craig.

The seven Councillors for the forthcoming term are Beth Blackwell, Rory Cavanagh, Mike Hinchberger, Doug Kennedy, Jennifer Prenger, Amanda Steinhoff-Gray, and Bill Stewart.

“Tonight, was an exciting beginning to our Council term. We look forward to working together as a Council, with staff, and with the community. Good days are ahead for the Municipality of Kincardine,” says Mayor Craig.
