OPP lay charges following Intimate Partner Violence investigation

On December 28, 2023, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an address in the Township of Huron-Kinloss and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old resident of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Spousal Assault
  • Theft under $5,000
  • Domestic Mischief – Two Counts
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance – Two Counts

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a later date.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
