The Ripley Food, Art & Craft Festival returns on Saturday, August 15, welcoming locals and visitors alike for a day of shopping, discovering local vendors, and connecting with the people behind the products.
Held from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre, 17 Queen Street in Ripley, the annual festival brings together more than 50 local artisans, makers, bakers, and food producers, showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship, and agricultural roots that make the area unique.
Whether you’re searching for handcrafted gifts, unique artwork, home décor, baked goods, local food products or one-of-a-kind treasures, there’s something for everyone to discover. The festival also provides an opportunity to meet the artisans and producers, support local businesses and enjoy a relaxed summer outing in Ripley.
This year’s event also marks the next step in an exciting evolution. Over the coming years, the Ripley Food, Art & Craft Festival will gradually transition to The Back Forty Bazaar, becoming part of the Huron-Kinloss’ Secrets of the Back Forty tourism brand. While the name will evolve, the heart of the festival remains the same: celebrating everything handmade, homegrown and locally inspired.
“Visitors can expect the same welcoming community festival they’ve come to love, with even more opportunities to discover the incredible makers, artisans and food producers that make our local community special,” says Amy Irwin, Economic Development Officer with the Township of Huron-Kinloss.
The Ripley Food, Art & Craft Festival takes place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre (17 Queen Street, Ripley). Admission is $2 per person, with children under five admitted free.
