   (R) Southampton Legion President John Willetts, Bruce Museum       Exec. Dir. Cathy McGirr and Business Mgr. Janice Mewhinney (L)

“We’re delighted to be able to distribute funds raised right back into the community and to good causes such as this one. The WW I display at the museum is compelling and serves as a hands on educational opportunity as well as a chance to start a discussion at home about the wars and perhaps share the stories of how their friends and family served. A real opportunity for remembrance!

Legion Branch 155 is also the proud sponsor of  ‘A Time to Remember: 100th Anniversary of Armistice’ will be held on Saturday, November 10th. Join Mat Johnson for a special lecture on this important historical event. Then, following a short intermission, enjoy a concert of wartime music by the Charlie Bell Trio.
