Election News

You have voted and the new council members for our Tiverton area are Ward 2 is Bill Stewart and for Ward 3 it is Amanda Steinhoff-Gray. Welcome and good luck, you’ll need it.

Christmas Markets

Nov. 5th Christmas Market at the Underwood Community Centre was a big success. There were crowds coming thru all day and the vendors were pleased. That means people are in the Christmas shopping mood. Nov. 12 there will be the annual Tiverton Lions Christmas Bazaar at the Whitney Crawford Centre.

Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church Soup Lunch Monday November 21 at 12 noon . Everyone welcome with a donation at the door.

The Tiverton Lions would like to extend an invitation to all Seniors( 65 years and older) to attend their Christmas Dinner on Friday December 2nd . This invitation is extended to all those living in Tiverton, Glammis , Inverhuron, as far north as North Bruce and south to the 5th of Kincardine .If you would like to attend and have not received a phone call by November 23 please call Lion Edna McTeer at 519-368- 5534

Remembrance Day Celebrations

The Tiverton Community Remembrance Day Service will be held again this year at the Tiverton cenotaph on November 11, 2022. The service begins at 10:45.

Reverends and Pastors from the Tiverton Baptist Church, Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church, Shiloh Community Church and the Chalmers Community Church will lead the service with the relaying of the wreaths. Please join us in this service of remembrance. This service is in addition to the RCL #183 ceremonywhich will be held in Tiverton.

The Tiverton Agricultural Society News

The Tiverton Agricultural Society enjoyed an evening at the Ainsdale Golf Course for the Kincardine Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement awards and walked away with the Miller Insurance

Agricultural Business Award. They had stiff competition with the other nominees, Bruce Botanical Food Gardens and the Kincardine Farmers Market. Wonderful job and we should all be proud.

Inverhuron news

Please note that Bruce Road 15 from Albert Street to the end by the lake is under construction and closed to local traffic.
