Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and members of the Hanover Police Service worked together on a drug investigation that impacted communities in Grey County, Bruce County and Wellington County.
As a result of the investigation, members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) conducted a vehicle stop along Side road 5 in West Grey Township.
Following a search of the vehicle, police seized more than a kilogram of Methamphetamine and 336 Oxycodone pills. The combined, estimated value of the seized controlled substances is $108,350.00.
Police also seized a quantity of cash as offence related property.
A 45-year-old male of Hanover was charged with:
- Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 7, 2020 to answer to the charges.
Also a 33-year-old of West Grey Township was charged with:
- Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 7, 2020 to answer to the charges.
