Bruce Power, together with its supplier partners, is continuing its support for community-led health and wellness initiatives in Saugeen Ojibway Nation Territory through a contribution to Noongwa Wellness. The latest donation includes $150,000 from supplier partners through the Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON) Community Development Fund and advances a three-year, $1-million commitment made by Bruce Power and supplier partners.
Located in Neyaashiinigmiing, the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, Noongwa Wellness is working to transform healthcare delivery by creating an Indigenous-owned and operated family medicine and wellness facility that brings culturally relevant, accessible care closer to home.
The latest contribution builds on the progress made since Bruce Power’s original commitment in 2025 and reflects ongoing support for community-driven priorities that strengthen health and wellness outcomes within the SON territory.
Since its launch, Noongwa Wellness has continued to advance its vision of providing integrated, culturally grounded care in a welcoming environment that honours the connection between culture, community and healing. The project is led by Noongwa Wellness and includes Dr. Elisa Levi, a member of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, as its inaugural physician.
