Bruce Power supplier partners donate $50,000 to United Way

Bruce Power’s supplier partners have donated $50,000 to United Way Bruce Grey to help fund inclusive programs and social services that are designed to improve lives, give hope and build stronger communities.

“Bruce Power’s supplier partners recognize the incredible work United Way does in offering support to people in our community,” said Maggie Tieman, Bruce Power’s Director of Community and External Affairs. “Our supplier partners are proud to contribute these funds for the United Way to use where they are needed the most.”

“We are so grateful to the supplier partners for choosing us. This incredibly generous $50,000 gift from Bruce Power’s supplier partners was an unexpected and wonderful surprise,” said Francesca Dobbyn, Executive Director, United Way Bruce Grey. “At a time when we are seeing more people reaching out for help, this additional support gives us the ability to respond to needs as they emerge. Their generosity will stay right here in Bruce and Grey Counties, helping local children, families and individuals through a wide range of much needed United Way programs.”
