Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre in Southampton (Saugeen Shores) is getting ready for a busy season ahead with several openings for students.
Beginning in March 9th, there is an opportunity for a March Break student for the KidZone March Break Day Camp and assistant to the Education Coordinator.
The position is ideal for a secondary school student who enjoys interacting with young children or for a student who may have previous experience with children’s programming or camps.
Another opportunity is an eleven-week position for a Marketing/Outreach student that begins June 19th and runs through to September 1st (2023).
A driver’s license and personable attitude toward the pubic is required as the position allows the opportunity to travel to various special events and activities across Bruce County promoting the Museum and dealing with the public.
There is also the opportunity for a student Programming Assistant the runs for nine weeks also beginning on June 19th until August 18th. In addition to Microsoft Office programs, the ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and be willing to dress up in costumes for a fun time.
The Museum is also offering several other student positions and all are with competitive hourly wages.
