The Kincardine Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Huron Shores Hospice and the Tiverton & District Lions are joining forces to offer a bigger and more exciting Catch the Ace raffle to the residents of the Municipality of Kincardine and the surrounding area.
A similar approach has been undertaken in Goderich, Ontario and has worked very well for the three organizations involved, with progressive jackpots as high as $80,000. Our hope is that we can duplicate that here, making it a win-win for our organizations and our Catch the Ace players.
The new Catch the Ace progressive raffle will offer hybrid ticket sales with both online and in-person ticket purchase opportunities, giving more flexibility to our ticket purchasers. Joining the two lotteries will help build the progressive jackpot faster and provide a much larger jackpot, while the community reaps the benefits. The proceeds will be divided equally between the three organizations. The Legion and Lions will support projects and organizations in our community. Huron Shores Hospice will support their two-bed residential hospice in Tiverton, along with their community programs, all delivered free to our community.
Stay tuned for more information in early February as to the start day for ticket sales. We are very excited to watch this jackpot grow in 2023!

Huron Shores Hospice is a charitable not-for-profit, volunteer-driven, community-funded residential hospice, providing free quality end-of-life care, at no cost, to residents of Saugeen Shores, Kincardine, Huron-Kinloss and surrounding areas.
Huron Shores Hospice also provides free programs for Grief Recovery, End-of-Life Doula services, Death Cafes and End-of-Life Planning workshops.
