On Thursday, July 31st, members of the Kincardine & District Lions Club, Kincardine Legion, Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund, the MacDonald family, The Bruce owners and the O.P.P. gathered to dedicate an A.E.D. (Automated External Defibrillator). The defibrillator will be available for use by the Lions for special events and for patrons of The Bruce.
The defibrillator was purchased in conjunction with the Dave Mounsey Memorial Fund which is dedicated to the donation of life-saving defibrillators in public buildings in the name of fallen Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS and Military members who have died in the line of duty.

The Fund honours the memory of OPP Constable Dave Mounsey, who perished in a motor vehicle accident while in the line of duty in 2006.
This one is dedicated to the memory of Norman Stewart MacDonald of Kincardine, a WWII veteran who made the ultimate sacrifice in France on 1944-10-01.
