Family Day fun at the Bruce County Museum

This Family Day come to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) and discover the wonderful world of the animal kingdom! Get ready for wildlife shows (with reptiles!), veterinarian-led pet care clinics, a chance to adopt your very own kitten and a Rabbit Dash pop-up cafe!

The always popular wildlife shows will take place throughout the day on Monday, February 21 in the Museum’s Bruce Power Theatre. Professional animal handlers from both Speaking of Wildlife and Zoo-to-You will have a variety of critters and creatures available for you to see and ask questions about – and in some cases even hold!

Downstairs in the Ontario Power Generation gallery the Southampton Pet Hospital will have a temporary clinic set up with kittens that are available for adoption. A veterinarian will also be able to answer any questions you have about your own pets. Kids will be able to make their own natural bird feeder at a guided craft station and everyone can enjoy a beverage and treat from the Rabbit Dash pop-up café.  All guests will receive a $2.00 café voucher.

If you’re new to the Museum or have always wanted to take out a membership, this is the time to do it. New Family Memberships are 10% off on this day only – get free entry all year long and discounts on events, programs and gift shop purchases!
