Fatal collision on Hwy. 21 under investigation

On November 1, 2023, at 5:18 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a two-vehicle collision along Highway 21 in Bruce Township.

Officers responded to the scene with members of Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find two vehicles involved.

One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The other driver was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The South Bruce OPP is continuing to investigate the collision along with members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team and the Coroner’s Office.

Highway 21 was closed at the scene for the protection of emergency responders but has since re-opened to traffic
