On Saturday April 1, 2023, South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Officers will be hosting “Fill a Cruiser” events in Southern Bruce County.
Starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m., South Bruce OPP Auxiliary officers will be available at the following locations:
- Walkerton Foodland from 9:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. and Kaufman’s Independent from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in Walkerton. All donations collected will be delivered to the Walkerton Food bank.
- Sobey’s from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and No Frills from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in Kincardine. All donations collected will be delivered to the Kincardine Food bank.
Please come out and help fill up the cruiser with non-perishable food items. All donations will be used locally, and food banks expect to see an increase in demand over the upcoming holiday weekend in April.
