Huron Shores Hospice joined the Giving Tuesday campaign this year (2022) with the hope that a goal of $10,000 would be reached.
“We are thrilled to report that our Giving Tuesday campaign raised a grand total of $19,746.95, almost double our $10,000 goal!” said Cheryl Cottrill, Board Director and Founding Director of the Hospice.
Cathy Herbert, Executive Director, said “It is moments like this, when community members come together to take action, that prove our power to incite change. Funds raised on Giving Tuesday (and every day) will go directly to provide comfort and compassionate care for our residents and their family members. From hot homemade meals, Netflix to pass the time or a wonderfully calming palliative massage, yesterday’s donations will enable residents to live well – right to the end. What an incredible gift to give!”
