Huron Kinloss Mayor takes strong stand to deter seasonal residents

Huron-Kinloss Mayor Mitch Twolan addressed the public via Social Media, strongly discouraging all Seasonal Residents from travelling to the Township of Huron-Kinloss while the pandemic situation exists.

“Unfortunately, some people are not taking this seriously and are ignoring our pleas,” said Twolan. As a result, he has issued an Order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, subsection 4(1) to Not Permit the Operation of any Valves for the Purposes of Supplying Water to Seasonal Dwellings During the Emergency Pandemic Situation.

Twolan states “Health is of the utmost importance right now for the residents of HuronKinloss, we need to do our part to flatten the curve.”
