Intimate partner violence continues

On July 29, 2023, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an address in Kincardine and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old Municipality of Kincardine resident was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

  • Uttering Threats
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking – Two Counts

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a later date.

The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victims.
