On October 11, 2018 members from the Grey-Bruce Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) was assisted by Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) and the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) as they executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant on a property located on Concession 11 in the Municipality of Kincardine.
As a result of the investigation, police seized over 600 cannabis marihuana plants, cannabis marihuana buds, cannabis marihuana shake, cannabis marihuana edibles, and over $4200 in Canadian currency. The estimated combined value of the seized controlled substances is approximately $250,000.
Brian DUNSEITH, 65-years-old and Linda M’LARKEY, 60-years-old, both from Kincardine have been charged with the following offences contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act:
- Produce a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Marihuana)
- Produce a Schedule II Substance (Cannabis Resin)
- Possession of Marihuana for the Purposes of trafficking
- Possession of Cannabis Resin for the Purposes of Trafficking
They will appear at The Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton at a future date to answer to their charges.
