Big congratulations to Cathy Cooper who won the toonie pot at the bingo on Thursday Feb 28. Just because the toonie pot was won there’s still lots of fun and other prizes up for grabs at bingo, on Thursday nights, at the legion. Doors open at 6pm the first game starts at 7pm. Get a group of friends together and come try your luck.
Catch the Ace tickets are now being sold at In Style Hair studio along with our other distributors, Sleepers bed gallery, Jean’s Restaurant, Esso on Queen, Edward Fuels and the Legion Bar. The tickets go on sale Thursday afternoon for the draw that takes place at 4pm the following Wednesday. We have teamed up with Special Olympics for this round of Catch the Ace, make sure you get your tickets you might just be the next person to find the Ace of Spades.
You will want to be sure that your calendar is clear for April 27th, Little Peter and the Elegants are returning to the legion that evening. Tickets are on sale now at the legion bar and at Harbour Rose Boutique. Don’t wait too long to buy your tickets this event always sells out.
The next general membership meeting will be held on Sunday arch 17th at 2pm in the clubhouse. We encourage all members to come out to the meeting. This is your time to have a say in what happens at your legion.
March Trivia night will be on the 22nd with the first question being asked at 7pm in the legion hall. Laura does a fantastic job at finding trivia questions to stump all the teams. If you have never come to a trivia night maybe this is the month you should give it a try.
