The Ace of Spades has not been found we are up around $8000 for the progressive draw. Draw takes place on Wednesday at 4pm, we are happy to be teamed up with Special Olympics this time around. Catch the Ace tickets are sold at In Style Hair studio, Sleepers bed gallery, Jean’s Restaurant, Esso on Queen, Edward Fuels and the Legion Bar. Tickets go on sale on Thursday afternoon for the following week’s draw, at all outlets. If you missed getting your ticket at your favourite outlet before they were gathered up, they are available for last minute sales at the legion bar if there are tickets available, until a couple minutes before the draw.
The Johnny Cash tribute band will be at the legion on August 31 at 8pm, tickets are $20 and available at the legion bar. This show is selling out at all the legions it has already been at, so make sure you get your tickets soon, so you aren’t disappointed.
With the nicer weather finally arriving why not come down to the legion and check out our patio. The tables and chairs are out and just waiting to be used. It’s a nice place to sit and catch up with others or maybe to watch the sun set.
Trivia night is set for June 21 starting at 7pm in the hall. Hope to see all the regular trivia players and hopefully some new ones as well this month. Laura does a great job coming up with some great questions to make for a fun informative night.
Thursday nights at the legion are burger and bingo nights. Come on out and have a great burger off the BBQ and then stay and play bingo. Or just come out for a burger and some socializing in the clubhouse, or just come for bingo. Which ever you pick we hope you enjoy.
The legion is open Monday to Friday noon to 10pm and Saturday’s noon to 6pm. The legion is open to everyone.
