Do you or a member of your family need any medical equipment? The legion has equipment to lend out to those in need. You can call the legion bar 519-396-3837, and they will put you in touch with someone who can look after you and get you the medical equipment you require.
Saturday afternoons mean that a meat draw is happening in the clubroom. There are 8 meat prizes available each week. Tickets purchased are good for all the meat draws. First draw takes place at 3pm with draws every 15 minutes. What a great time to get together with friends and socialize and maybe go home with a meat prize.
March general membership meeting will take place on Sunday March 16th at 2pm in the clubroom. We need members to come out to the meetings so that voting on items pertaining to the operation of the legion can take place.
Don’t forget to buy your Catch the Ace ticket. They go on sale at the retailers on Thursday. Let’s get that progressive jackpot growing. We need people to buy tickets so that the jackpot can grow. The higher the jackpot the more money goes to the hospital foundation. The more money they get, the more equipment can be purchased for the local hospital. Catch the Ace tickets are available at the legion bar, Jean’s Restaurant, The Beefway, In Style Hair Salon, Sleeper’s Bed Gallery, Edward Fuels, and the Hospital Foundation office.
Looking for something to do in the afternoons? Do you enjoy playing pool? The pool players at the legion are inviting anyone who enjoys a good game of pool to join them on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 2pm. The pool tables are located up 1 flight of stairs.
The legion is open Monday to Friday noon to 10pm and Saturday noon to 6pm. You do not need to be a legion member to come and enjoy the events that take place at the legion.
