Kincardine Minor Hockey offers low-cost entry for new-to-hockey experience

 

 

Kincardine Minor Hockey has partnered with the Toronto Maple Leafs, BAUER Canada, NHL, NHLPA and Hockey Canada to provide a positive experience for new-to-hockey families by offering a low-cost entry program to hockey.

The NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program aims to make hockey Accessible, Affordable, Safe and a Fun atmosphere where children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old that have never previously been registered in minor hockey, can learn the game of Hockey.

For a $199 registration fee, each player will receive a full set of BAUER equipment (helmet with face mask, neck guard, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, jock/jill, pants, shin pads, skates, socks, jersey, hockey bag and stick) fitted by NHL/NHLPA First Shift experts, as well as a minimum of 8 – 1hr ice times where a Hockey Canada Curriculum is delivered by the most qualified Instructors. Hockey Canada Insurance is also provided.

The goal of this program is focused on a fun range of hockey experiences to stimulate a desire for continued participation in hockey.
